Josh Vamos - Audio Post Production Specialist

Josh Vamos has worked across film, television, and AAA games for 15+ years, with credits including Emmy-winning series Schitt's Creek, Amazon Prime's The Summer I Turned Pretty, and Ubisoft's Far Cry 5. His work spans character-driven drama, sketch comedy (TallBoyz), documentaries (Air Crash Investigation/Mayday), lifestyle programming, and immersive game environments.

Beginning at a local television studio, Josh moved into production sound recording for film and television before transitioning to post-production. His background in both production sound mixing and post-production continues to inform his work, particularly when capturing field recordings and bespoke sound elements for specific project requirements.

His post-production work includes dialogue editing, ADR supervision, Foley editing, sound effects editing, and recording custom backgrounds. Throughout his career, he has worked with facilities including Formosa Sound in Los Angeles and Ubisoft's game audio division, contributing to over 40 productions across network television (CBC), streaming platforms (Amazon Prime), feature films, and AAA games.

Working remotely with film and television productions across North America and internationally, Josh delivers Pro Tools and Nuendo sessions for streaming, broadcast, theatrical, and AAA game projects. Based in Hamilton, Ontario, with secure digital delivery to clients worldwide.
