Sound Supervision

Sound Supervision

Great soundtracks don’t happen by accident — they’re led. As a supervising sound editor, I take ownership of the entire post-production sound process, from the first spotting session through to the final mix. Sound supervision means one experienced creative directing dialogue, ADR, sound effects, and Foley editorial as a single, coherent soundtrack — so directors and producers have one accountable point of contact instead of juggling a fragmented team.

What a Supervising Sound Editor Does

Sound supervision is equal parts creative leadership and logistical control. I translate the director’s vision into a concrete sound plan, assemble and direct the editorial team, and own quality and delivery from start to finish.

  • Spotting sessions — reviewing the cut with the director to set the creative sound direction
  • Dialogue & ADR supervision — planning, recording and editing production dialogue and looped lines
  • Sound effects & Foley direction — building the world of the film through designed and recorded sound
  • Team coordination — managing sound editors, designers and mixers to one unified standard
  • Delivery to spec — broadcast and theatrical loudness, stems and deliverables, on schedule

Experience You Can Trust

I’ve supervised and crafted sound across film, television and AAA video games — including Far Cry 5, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, and Starlink: Battle for Atlas — and I’m a DGC-nominated re-recording mixer with broadcast television credits. Your project gets supervision grounded in real delivery experience across formats and platforms.
